Our Great Lakes high Andean villages Jimbe
hamlet of Quilcay Talk is talk of Jaramillo and Cano. If we talk of the village we are talking about Pears Pérez and Figueroa. In general, speak of a high Andean village is talking about two or three families who inhabited since its formation. Well, maybe there's a Quilcay Mejía Villafana or new to the village, but is sure to be a son or daughter of the Jaramillo, then must pass much earlier than the original surnames are displaced by new.
In addition, each village is a family or two or three. In Carhuamarca are the Quiñones, the Aley or Real, in Anguy, the Sanchez, Gonzales, the Melgarejo, in Santa Rosa, Velásquez, Ruiz, Roque.
There is also a posting of names to the big cities and abroad. Even the names are lost with migration, for example, Gutierrez Milla Jimbe whole family emigrated to USA and Carranza Chauca Spain, and this will only give two examples. But there is also movement between villages. Thus we find in Cosma Anguy Melgarejo, Velasquez Cochapetí in Santa Rosa, Prieto of many in Huashcayán. The jimbeños we move as a human being.
on the map below we will be inserting information relating to the various villages. But surely we can not collect the minimum information we require the expectations of the readers. Thus it is that (you now read this) material contribution to include it. Photos, stories or anecdotes curious, history, videos, blogs, family names, corrections, criticisms. All constructs. Thanks.
Map under continuous construction (Pending draw roads, including pictures, coordinates, altitude, family names, authorities).
